This solar tracking linear actuator application is part of the Samarkand 1 Solar + Energy Storage Project in the Samarkand region of Uzbekistan. The project is planned to include a 500 MW solar PV system together with a supporting battery energy storage system (BESS), making it one of the region’s large-scale renewable energy projects.
TOMUU supported part of the project’s solar tracking system with U20 Series solar linear actuators and U21A solar dampers, addressing the long-term outdoor operating requirements of a large-scale PV project.
